i miss water

for the third, yes third, time since i moved into this house, i am without water. and nothing makes you appreciate water more than being forced to do without it. the reason that we currently do not have water is the leak in our front yard, the very same leak that we thought had been fixed in august. it didn't erupt into a 10-foot geyser like it did last time, which was slightly disappointing. would've made for a great picture.

anyway, shruti and i have been forced to drive to campus whenever we have to go to the bathroom, which is really ridiculous, and makes you feel just a bit stupid. there's nothing like walking into an empty classroom building at 1 am on a sunday morning, just because you have to go to the bathroom.

they're supposed to fix the leak tomorrow morning. they have to dig up the front yard to do it. yay. but as long as they fix it, i'll be happy.
